My name is
Nicky and this is my story |
|

|
|
My name is
Nicky I am
on the left, I am a 7 year old Yorkie. OK, so I don't look like the Yorkies
that you
see in the pet stores. That's because the people who owned me like bigger dogs; we
can carry more puppies in our belly than a little bittie Yorkie. Of course, when you
see those puppies in the stores you don't know that. By the time that you find out
the puppy that you bought is going to get bigger than you thought, it's too late because
you are totally in love with your puppy. |
|
I have had 5 litters
of puppies in my short 7 year life. I would have had more, but I was saved from
a puppymill in Thayer, MO on March 14, 1999. I was pregnant when my new people
rescued me, but an auction puts a lot of stress on any dog but even more so when you are
pregnant. So I lost my 6th litter of puppies and I will not have to ever have any
more puppies. |
|
I now have a new home
where there are other dogs, even a baby Yorkie that I have adopted named Ginger. My
new people love me and I love them, too. I wish that all puppymill dogs could find
as good a rescue shelter to go to as I have found!! |
