CALEB

The day he was rescued

Hello my name is Caleb and I came from a Puppymill. I was only there a couple of months before the nice people at Puppymill Rescue saved me and a bunch of other doggies. I didn’t have to endure the awful conditions like my new brother Barkley did.

He was also rescued by the nice people at Puppymill Rescue. He has told me all of the horrible things that happen at the mills. Unfortunately, he had to be at a mill for over 2 ½ years and was subjected to the inhumane conditions that exist. He is still scared of loud noises and is skittish around people, but is getting better. Enough with the bad stuff let’s talk about our new lives in our forever home.

First of all our forever mom and dad are the greatest. They give us so much love. At first Barkley didn’t like them trying to hold him but now he kinda likes it and smiles. They also take REALLY good care of us in the toy, treat, and food departments. As you can see in the pictures they also let us ride on the Harley, help make Puppymillrescue.org bumper stickers, wear boxer shorts, and just be ourselves no matter how silly we are.

We have two yorkie brothers, Tigger and Rocky, and a sister, Harley, who is part sheltie, part shepherd, and part chow. We all play really good together. They don’t understand how these mill “people” could treat dogs the way they do. Mom and dad have taken such good care of them since they were pups they don’t know anything except the good life and from now on that is what Barkley and I will know.

So thank you to Puppymill Rescue for giving us the best forever home a doggie could ask for.

Special thanks to Foster Mom (a.k.a. Aunt Doris) for taking such good care of me (Caleb) and continuing to be part of my life.
