Carrie, Callie, Sam and Cassie, Marilyn's babes.

Carrie..
Carrie has been with us 2 years now...and she has come so far.  This shy little girl who Elaine had to chase to pick her up, who would sit and shake and be so afraid has become the most beautiful outgoing loveable little girl.  She loves to bark..or as I say, talk to you.  She will run to the door to meet you when you come home.  She has her own pillow that she sleeps on, which she puts between hubby and me..and her sweet little head rests on hubbies shoulder.  She wakes you up in the morning with kisses all over your face.  Because of being in a cage for most of her life she couldn't run hardly at all when she first came...now she is like a streak of lightening.  She is a happy well adjusted little girl...who is loved very very much.
Marilyn

Callie

Callie is our sweet little girl who loves everybody.
She is always happy...she can never stand still...those little feet of hers are always moving...the one thing she loves the most is FOOD!! She loves to eat...she also likes to bark...if hubby or I leave the room, the barking starts. She does not like to sleep on the bed..so she has her own little bed that is right next to our bed...Callie has come to trust almost everyone...loves to be carried..or held..but just hates her ears cleaned and her toenails clipped. She walked really bad when we first got her...she couldn't run at all...now, what a difference...she runs right along with the others...maybe not as fast...but not far behind.

Thanks Jean for everything...
Marilyn

Sam
What can I say about Sam...he is such a clown..and into everything...This little boy loves life...and enjoys every minute of it...he has a ball that we got him when he first came to live with us two years ago..and he goes nowhere without that ball...even when he gets a bath, his ball gets one too. Sam was only 6 month old when we adopted him so he didn't have alot of the issues that the older rescues have. He loves to run and jump right up into your arms...and he will kiss your face until you need a towel...He is the most even tempered little guy...never gets upset...sleeps so sound that you can pick him up and carry him around and he will sleep right thru it...He loves to sleep right next to you under the bed covers and never moves the whole night long. He loves to sleep late...he is not a morning guy.
He keeps us laughing 24 - 7.
Can't imagine life without Sam.
Thanks Jean for letting us take him into our home and our lives...and give him all the love he so deserves.

Cassie

Cassie has been with us over a year now....we were told that she wasn't very fond of men, but from the time we picked her up and brought her to the car, she has been her daddies baby...She goes every place with him...loves to take naps with him in the recliner...and boy can she snore.
Carrie loves everybody, nobody is a stranger to her...we call her Ms Wiggle Butt because every time she sees you or anyone else her tail wags so hard you think it is going to fall off. She loves tummy rubs, loves to be brushed...and her favorite little thing to do is to stand in the water dish and splash with her two front paws...
We have water outside for her to play in, but no, she likes the water bowl in the kitchen. She is always happy. She loves chasing the butterflies and birds...and enjoys the freedom of running in the yard. She will lay on the deck and just stretch and stretch...she has a doggie door so she can come and go whenever...

Like all of our rescues...they are our heart and soul...
and not one day have we ever regretted adopting them.
They all give us so much more than we could ever give them...but when they look at you with those beautiful eyes that are no longer haunted...and you see them change from full of fear, to complete trust...no more hiding in corners, but running free...you know in your heart that you made the right decision, and the love that passes between you will be there forever.
Thank you Jean...without you none of this would have been possible.
Hugs...
