Meet Rory O'Shea

Rory O'Shea is a small 12 pound little Poodle mix that was rescued from a terrible situation and we are hoping some cruelty charges will be pending soon.

He had a skin infection, bilateral ear infections, he had lice , he is emaciated and he has a herniated disk that has affected his ability to ambulate. His fur was sparce and matted with urine and feces. We are not sure if he is debarked or not but he is unable to bark like a normal dog. A pitiful sound worbles out of his throat.He was loaded with intestinal parasites as well.

He is under veterinary care and is progressing in little steps. He is shy but wants to be friendly. He does not like being picked up but loves attention on his level. He is pretty good in the potty dept. He uses a potty pad and also a dogdoor to the fenced yard.

He is now lice free,he is neutered and UTD on all boosters. He has had a dental and lost one tooth. Dr Darby said he is young..he believes he is under 2.He is HW negative and on preventative. He has had a skin biopsy to determine what his skin issues are so we can better treat him. This is still pending

This poor liitle pathetic boy is a diamond in the rough. Check back for updates..he will be a handsome little man in time. Thanks to PMR and his other rescue angels.
